You can abuse Gandhi here but not Ambedkar or Shivaji(both ranjikant and maratha empror) . Why? because they have lots of followers or they are are part of big political agenda.and how it feels like to be charged with the charges of abusing Shivaji on internet your cyber cafe will be damaged or may be jailed.
But what if you have not done or said anything against any cult(these political leaders have made those great heroes a cult in India) but just because your ISP has give wrong information to police you are jailed and suffer in inhuman conditions over there for 50 odd days..
ask Lakshmana Kailash K a software engineer working in banglore .His alleged crime was posting defamatory photos of Chattrapati Shivaji on the social networking site, Orkut. He was arrested on the basis of the Internet Protocol address provided by his Internet service provider, Bharti. As it turned out, the IP address was not his.
But this took 50 days to verify that this was not his IP addres but of someone else.. he had to undergo lathi beatings and was made to use one bowl to both eat in and for using as a toilet. He has sent legal notice to his ISP, Principal Secretary (Home) Maharashtra government and the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Financial & Cyber Crime Unit), Pune Police asking for a compensation of Rs. 20Cr.(whoooping large sum of money).
What if he was not an educated person the case would have gone unattended by media no would have question police.
But why a person is kept locked for 50 days for what crime he has done posting abusive pics of Shivaji , nobody is going to put Mayawati in the jail for abusing Mahatam Gandhi (and we call him nations father). Under Indian constitution you are allowed to express your views until it hurts someone. But the rule is followed for few you can give any fatwa for killing bush , no one will ask you , you can declare prize for killing MF hussain no one will ask you unless you have political support but you say a wrong word against Ambedkar or Shivaji you will be killed mind you. You can debate over them they are always right you cant question over them. In the land of ram where even Sita was put against agni pariksha we cant question over some emperor are they above GOD.
and those who support these kinda things are they credible one they are asking for molester to be in any condition (as they seems to be north Indians) and very next day they will take some of them who are not north Indian to CM ask for their relaxation, as they are son of the soils so they are allowed to do anything they want why not let the investigation go and have all culprits punished.

This is what the title of the site that i discovered through digg(digg this article here). This is the story of an IAS officer (Indian Administrative Service) in India who is raising his voice against corruption around him.He is one of those few person who have courage to speak up against it.
But his wife does not want him to loose his life like other whistle-blowers like Satyendra Dubey, a government engineer who exposed corruption in the national highway building program. Well its not been a while ago when a rebel broke off at digg for censoring a post.. this time the famous Photo site Flickr is in trouble.. wat it has done the same thing digg did.. deleted a pic from Rebekka a paid member and very famous photographer on flickr ..
Wat all she was tryin is to protest against a company who used her photographs without her permission and made lotss money after failing in legal battle against the company she used the best means to protest against them... Internet(Whoooo.. ) ... full story here

The fire spread and gone to Digg's home page.. u hit digg homepage u get thousands of supporters .. but wat flickr did deleted her post and this brought anger in flickr users jst lyk diggers did .. and battle started.. ppl gone made..

finally lyk digg .. flickr's co-founder responded to the rebellions and said sorry to them.. once again the battle is won ...

A bill passed in US congress abut the fees of internet radio might make the it a thing of past .. or except big players lyk yahoo .. will b dead becoz the amount of fees they need to pay for might b higher then the wat they earn and wat they earn genrally these internet radio services are free one's ..
The webcasters don't earn nething out of these .. then how can they pay such huge fees .. and the way internet radio has affected our lives cant be ingnored well i came to knw abut "natasha bedingfield" kinda popular and some other unknown artists thru yahoo music only .. radio is a gr8 medium for selling muzik if u hear something for the first time on radio then u go for it to purchase it in shop.. its one more powerful tool provided by Internet .. and govt. as usual is tryin to suppress it by putting its illogical policies ..

But to a relief some senator are tryin to support the web casters and its all becoz of the support of the masses who have came in favor of Internet radio and sent the petitions to their local representatives ..

In my last post only i was talking abut the power of Internet democracy and how people are using it and jst now i saw one more rebel voice coming frm one more popular site collegehumor.com ..

well the case here is little diffrent from previous one the site isn't blocking its users but rather asking its users to go against the SYSTEM and fight for their rights..

The story goes lyk this

and now the site is asking its strong user base which is from all around the colleges of US ...to protest against this illogical system and do same as wat Stacey Synder did.. put ur drunken pics on faccebook , MySpace ..

Day after day the fight between SYSTEM(useless and illogical one's only) and ppl is getting hotter and Internet is playing a very major role in this to give a voice to people ...

wat comes next i dunno.. but the things are not going to b same as they were.. the world is turning rebellious whether its DRM or college authorities ...

May 1 a day that will be remembered in the history of Internet democracy . This is the day when popular news site digg.com has to put down its services from the fear fear of being sued and shutdown(becoz of MPAA ) and then again need to put on well from the same fear of getting shutdown(becoz its users will run away from it ) .

The story start with a hex no.

this is not a usual no. its the no. which has shacked the roots of million users strong site digg.com ..

well its the crack for HD-DVD encryption .. this key has been roaming arnd for a while on net ... almost 3 mnths.. and suddenly it hits the digg's front page . Digg as any other fearful site(they should b) pulls down the the post relating to this and bans(deletes) users who have posted it.

Now the battle starts .. diggers mind speak " ur earing thousands of dollers on us and ur trying to stop us .. do hell with u.. " diggers unite and start posting more and more stories related to HD-DVD crack.. and making use of there network try to make the posts to hit the digg's front page..

digg fight's back it still tries to block the users posting these kinda things .. and uses fliter to stop such kinda content from being posted ..

but digger's u cant stop them they keep on posting n postin ...

well to show the world diggers have won the battle they make all the front page full of HD-DVD crack related posts ..

this seems to b a ONE TIGHT SLAP in the face of the people who are trying to control the Internet which is suppose to be democratic nature ..

digg.com may need to close down its services .. if MPAA takes it to court..

But this battle has proved one thing Internet has to be democratic and no one can stop it..

The democratic nature of Internet these days is creating a big hype.. currently in my country ( INDIA ) a controversy aroused when govt. tried to put its decision on giving Quota (Reservation ) in technical institutions to the people of certain CASTE .. they are called OBC here .. in this fight between the students of general category(who don't get reservations ) and govt. the students united and in this Internet has played a major role .. it was only internet which connect students from all over India to unite on one single platform and voice against the govt.

The update on the govt. Vs Students battle is students have winning and govt. is loosing against the massive anger against its policies.

Internet was developed for Military usage which is not democratic by nature ... and now it is used as the most Democratic tool of the for FREE SPEECH (as u say in America ).. really developers of Internet have never thought they making such a powerful tool which will change the world.

A guide to getting Passport in INDIA

Well getting passport in India with all that bureaucratic system is kinda tough.. but after keeping the form filled for two years i have submitted the form very recently to be very specific on 07 Apr 07 (nice date i haven't noticed) ...
I faced some troubles ... its really not easy .. well i thought why not keep a record of all the troubles i have faced .. and share it with the world..
So the process starts with purchasing Passport Form well the best place to buy it Post Office(Main post office of the city) .. it comes for Rs. 20 .. kinda cheap.. filling the form isn't that tough.. rather the new form is quite easy and very less information needs to be given .. all the irrelevant details have been removed..

All the documents you need to attach with it are given in annexure .. well one thing to keep in mind is to have "Emigration Check not required" field chked .. and provide the supported documents .. becoz u will be in great trouble while getting Visa if u haven't checked that field ..

If you are submitting form thru the Post office then you will need to submit the fees thru demand draft of Rs. 1000/- in Favor of Passport Officer , (city name where you are applying for lyk Bhopal in my case) .. well get this DD thing in advance becoz i didn't knew i cant submit cash .. so had little trouble..

One Very important thing to keep in mind while going submitting form keep a Pen , Whitener(Most important) , couple of Photographs , several photocopies of documents your submitting , and their originals..

Okk so you submit the form .. they will give you a receipt .. keep it with you its very important.. well the one most important thing it has is File no. This no. is used to get the status(online) of you passport application .. u can get the status here http://164.100.17.25/passmain.php?city=bpl

Now again entering the File no. isnt that easy as u might think.. the file no u get will b lyk this BPLW23454507 .. the space given for filling the file no. wont accept all the digits.. it accepts only 1 alphabet and 6 digits.. well then the thing that u have to enter it lyk this "W234545" leave rest of the thing.. the last two digits "07" designate the year in which you have submitted the form ..

Its been more then two weeks and i'm still waiting for the Police Verification to be done... well will update you ppl as soon as i get the police verification done..

So its once again the republic day hurray.. .. okk there only two days in the whole year when we show respect to our tricolor flag.. and came to know that we are still in India not in USA , UK.. as our call center buddies believe.. (their ascent of English.. uff.. ).. so how do you know its the R-Day...well let me remind u.. 26th jan is the R-day.. and 15th aug is I-day... its sooo confusing to remember isnt it..cant they do things on d same day...

The signs that show its R or I -day..

1. U will see tricolor on every vehicle ...two , four.. truck.. tempo.. every one will b having a tricolor..some more enthusiastic put one in front and another one on back side.. and they are temporary for one day .. okk carawala's will carry them for long time.. jst becoz they forget that there is sum thing lyk tricloro flag is in their car..

2. U will hear vandematram song all over .. if its the elections time soon.. else.. no forget abut it..

3. Kids selling tricolor at every chouraha ... and they will sell those flags on very high price.. after all its the only day for them to earn money ... from those enthusiastic ppl who are trying so hard to prove that they are Indian..

4. There will b decorations in your company.. ballons.. posters.. flags on every desk...and jst now i had cake... it was part of celebrations.. .... ooh i forgot to tell u i brought one for my desk too.. and too for jst 20/- Rs.. frm a square near my company..

5. U will see all the yahoo status .. muzik status on gTalk .. all patirotic. .. i have kept it indyah.. and made a pic of myself having tricolor in background... and at the end of the day u will receive .lotss msgs and mails for the R-day.. and will read same mail from different ppl.. which are same as they sent last year..

6. All the radios in the city will b shouting aloud about r-day... RED FM mumbai an exception.. although.

7. All the papers filled with R-day offer .. after all why shopkeepers remain behind in selling the R-day..

8.Mall's are decorated .. filled with flags.. its holiday lotss ppl will want to spend money on shopping..

9.ur frendz are discussing plans for movies and how to spend this long weekend... very very long weekend..

10. there will b address to the nation by president on DD1.. and it will the headline of next day's news paper.. filled with lotss promises.. asking youth to take up.. showing how India has concurred the world...and blah blah..oopss i mean etc etc.

... so the R-day ends.. back to wrk.. my US client is waiting for the product.. call centers are back to there English ascent ... kids on chouraha back to there paper selling buziness ... flags back to there place..and mostly lying on road.. who cares for the law.. F**K the law. ..

Rang De Basanti failed to figure in the nominations shortlist for Oscar , and now people are debating would it be better if Omkara was sent to Oscar it would have made in the category.. producer of Rang De Basanti Ronnie Screwvala says

"I think the US audience has been tilted towards American cinema. Clint Eastwood and Mel Gibson had two winners there in the foreign language category and that gives them a headstart as they are based in the US........ "

But he forgets that Deepa Mehta's Water has been able to make to Oscar as an official entry from Canada so.. its not the problem of not being a US film at least...

Then wat went wrong with Rang de basanti.. it was off course a great film .. energized india youth remember how doctor's AIIMS used it as their voice against Indian govt. during there oppose for the quota ...so in all it was a great india inspirational.. motivational.. youth.. etc. etc.. yeah got thrilling muzik too .. film..

But one point which went missing in all this is it a copy of a French film " Jesus De Montreal ".. how do expect a copied film to nominated for Oscar .. okk Indian audience wasn't aware of this fact so.. for them it was a great work .. an original work.. while it was a copy .. and Indiansied copy of a French at the end.. and the producer & director don't even accept this fact that it was a copy.. or say Smart copy..

You can fool Indian audience for not being aware of the facts but i don't think .. you can carry on this bluff at the international stage.. better we should do our homework first and produce some good original Indian films.. rather then criticizing others for telling us the bitter truth..

I Recently saw a question posted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on yahoo answers ok i knw Yahoo! Answer is very popular but i not gonna to believe that President of India will post questions on Yahoo! Answers .. i though it to b some spammer.. but question that was asked was not lyk wat a spamer will ask..then i saw a OFFICIAL mark on the profile of the person who asked the question ... i got more confused .. then finally i saw a note in the end of the question by yahoo! staff..

While i was having party at madh island on 31st nite .. with all those dancing and DJ's.. xcept that poor mgmt.. which put me off a bit.. and that late nite cold .. uff .. at that time the other end of city the Gateway of India ... was witnessing a horrible act ..

A girl was molested in public by a crowd while she was there to celebrate her 31st...as was reported by mid-day ... it was a real shocking incident.. as the Mumbai city is considered much safer for the womens to roam around in nite.... and such a horrible incident happens in the mid of the crowd is truly not the way bombay is supposed to be .. there were so many police men to guard the public but the ppl who did this act were not having any fear from the police..

The gal who suffered this .. must been thru a real mental shock .. even wen his male friend tried to protect her.. the crowd was so crazy that they thrown him off...

Apart from all that sympathy for that gal .. i do have one question in my mind.. why didn't the gal wore sum sober clothing for going to such an crowded place.. ??

The place was suppose to be crowded we all know... in mumbai the juhu beach.. or choppaty kinda public places are going to crowded with sum cheap crowd .. even i avoid going to such places on these day.. but that brave gal went in mid of the crowd wearing a dress which was showing her cleavage and her legs clearly.. does it make any sens to go to such place this way.. its okk of ur going to a private party or disc..

But in the mid of the crowd... having ppl. who might not have been so close to a gal wearing such a outfit .. will try to en cash the chance..

In all .. i do condemn the incident.. but it doesn't mean there was no fault on the gals side.. its the responsibility of all of us... the police , the crowd .. and even the gal... to keep this city safe for ladies..

Have you ever searched your name on the google.. i did it lotss times.. wen i first started to use net .. after getting so much info from the net abut so many ppl .. i thought wat if sum body tries to google my name.. will she(i wud luv it to be " she" ;) ) be able to get me.. means info about me.. or my mail id to contact me.. but no hope.. i didnt had a blog at that time.. neither there were any social networking site(orkut , hi5 , myspace).. where people can find me by my name or by my likes dislikes nething... sooooo i was not search able(so sad )..i was connected to the web of net.. but nobody will be able to search me.. was a big disappointment...

Then came the era of all those social networking site and blogs... where u can search me ... but there has to sum more easy way then this.. to search sum thing as easy as... i fill up an application form and ppl will know.. i have don't want to maintain my website....

and the solution came the google's way .. google base .. (one more goolge product) all you need to do here is to have an google account.. now i assume everyone has one.. as google is so popular .. and fill up the details as many as u want and u got listed on web.. so easy.. isnt it...

Apart from its use to get urself listed in google's database .. it is very useful businessmen who wanna to list there products.. but dont have time.. or say knowledge to create a blog .. a site for themselves . .. they can use it very well.. its so easy and free of cost thing.. okk u wont b on the top pages of search but at least u get listed on the database and people will be able to search your products..

Not even business it can be used for nething to everything .. lyk job posting .. hotels.. vehicles , events... and the list is endless becoz you can create your own custom types so ppl go ahead.. and use it..

I have recently purcahsed hitachi's HDC - 831E digicam ... and unfortunately i lost its manual .. so i tried to find it via google but there was no help.. all the sites i found were of selling the cam.. but lucky me after mailing to Hitachi customer care they sent me the user manual... although its not xactly of my digcam .. but it contains all the information to operate my digicam... xcpt those scene modes.. i really want themm...

Wat i liked most abut his digicam is the contorl over photography it provides till now i was using simple cam which didnt have any configurable thing .. so its really a big and quite tough thing for me.. so mostly i go for using the auot mode. wich sets all the things automatically u dont need to do nething.. also i use the activity mode vry often ..

okie apart from all the gud thing wat i think it lacks is battery life time.. battery life is too short.. becoz of the larze LCD the battery sinks too soon... although u have option to use the optical view finder but in that case u wont b able to use the manual setting..

now as i have i got ma dream digicam cam i am clicking everything i can.. n tryin to learn the cam each day ... tryin to control the sutter speed aparture.. the.. focus.. the exposure.. omg it has so many thing to b learnt , i think i need to leanr some gud photography books to use the true power of my digicam..

Mumbai Traffic Police goes Gandhigiri way...

Mumbai traffic police is on its way to Gandhigiri ... not practically.. but atleast via adv'ts .. i heard a lotss of their Gandhirgiri (if u dont know it .. its by Munna bhai ) advices on radio's .. lyk advices for traffic jam during rush.. ppl try to get out of jam's quicker and in that.. they creat more chaos .. and there comes the Gnadhiji's advice.. why not better b calm and jst follow the traffic rule things will b in more control that way... its really a gud idea .. but are drivers really gonna to follow these things... its easy for ppl to get impressed by such nice adv'ts but in real life ppl hardly follow such nice things.. they are used to doing things in a way.. and breaking a tradition or trying sumthing new.. its not gonna b easy.. i hope this initiative of mumbai police works ..

and one gud thing.. is mumbai traffic police gonna to apply Gandhigiri to itself we all knw abut corruption dont v... its easy to advice others then to follow it.. ;)

i recived a mail satating Burj al-Arab a 7 star hotel .. okey u recive lotss mail claiming this and that fact.. now this fwded mail claim the hotel to b only hotel in world having the status of being seven star(*) .. this 7 star thing reminded me of some other news also in wich one more hotel acclaimed itself to b world's only seven star hotel... now.. now ..curious me.. wanted to knw the truth... the way .. GOOGLE... yes man our vry best frend ... i googled it.. and found an wikipedia article abut the Burj al- Arab .. and found the turht tere also that.. its not an seven star hotel... rather its only a 5 -star luxary hotel.. and even it stated that the official site of hotel does not claims it to b a seven star... its jst sum publicity stunt.. becoz there is system of maximum five star.. not even six stars are alloted ... wich sum other hotel claim to b... although i cundt find where in the site of Burj al-Arab has listed itslf 5 star or seven star.. but for sure its not a seven star.. ya it seems to b vry vry gud hotel with all the luxarys.. but.. still 100% is the maximum u cant have more then that..

Ppl keep on asking me for e-books everytime.. and i do tell them sources to find them.. but doing a google for a e-book is not that easy ..becoz most of the results u get are unnecessary .. or not relevent.. they are sum promos of the books or sumthing related to books .. but wat we want it the either PDF...zip.. rar or sumthing so here are few tricks to help u out.. in finding e-books u want..

I still remeber my School days wen i was "FORCED" to sing Vande Mataram daily in assambly... as a student it doesnt mean much to me.. jst one more prayer in the assambly.. along with "Jan Gan Man "... ya i knw they both are vry respected sngs of our nation.. and one must feel proud for them.. but .. in school days.. u jst sing them... its a daily practice wich has to b done.. wheather u lyk it or.. not...

But i belive every indian feels a sensation in his body wen listns to National anthem or sng.. i must commit here National anthem feel more patriotic to me then sng.. i dont knw why.. might b the rythem it has..or the wrds.. but i jst prefer it..

This things define india.. the unity the bortherhood amongst us... but due to sum dumb politicians specifically "Arjun Singh".... who tried to play sum dirty politics with it.. and the poor "BJP".. which got caught in it.. the spirit of vande matram is lost.. there is no pride left in saying that its "OUR"(the whole indias) national sng...

Ganpati bappa moriya ...

Its not ususal for me to go to sum mandir untill and unless my mom asks me too.. but even then i visited "lalbaugcha raja" the most Famous Ganesh Mandal in mumbai and i think the oldest one Public Ganpati too ... Being in mumbai and u dont get impressed by Ganpati celebration thats impossible..

So jst after gettin so much impressed we decided to got Lalbaugcha Raja .. Lambi si line.. bahut saari bheed.. bas yahi dikha waha.. we found the start of the line.. and Got ourself over there.. the line was moving speedliy.. in jst 45.. mins we coverd so much of distance.. God we are moving so Fast..

But then come the real SHOCK.. the line wich we were in.. is not the line for Ganpati... it starts ..but.. it doesnt reach to the pandal... the other end of the line is open.. wat a suprise.. then we saw the other line.. thank god there is sum line to reach to the pandal.. okk lets join this line.. lets go find its start.. .. keep goin.. goin .. goin.. is this line has a start.. no... there seems to b no start.. asks one person.. "how long have u been standin here" .. "2 0'clock".. and still u have to wait 1-2 hrs more to have the darshan.. Hopeless.. we are not gonna to b part of this line.. lets try sum trick to get in to this line.. humm found a crowd.. nice place.. try to adjust ... lag gaye line mein.. par ek mein hui.. uncle uncle ye bhaiya line mein nahi the pehle.. chalo nikalo line sey.. humm lets try sum other place.. tried four times.. but no chance useless.. it can't b done.. "Apne baas ki baat nahi hai ye log 2 baje se khade hai yaha pe".. nikal lo apan to yaha sey...

so .. Ganpati to nahi dekhe.. worli Sea face hi dekh lete hai.. aur sham waha bita di.. and this way the weekend ends...

Govt's Plan to make slum free mumbai .. sounds so so exicing... the Shining mumbai.. with no slums... no dirty cheap ppl ... no jhuggi jhopdi's .... no kids crying on the streets ... no one taking bath on the footpath... Make it lyk Shanghai .. The Clean city with the skyscrapers... Six lane Highways.. no crowded ... traffic jam..(oo i hate them soo so much... i am lawys late becoz of them..)

yes this is the city i dream of.. the city in wich i wanna to live.. when its gonna b true...

But then came the 11th july... city was rocked by Bomb Blast... the city stopped for a moment.. eveyone was speechless..everyone one is panic.. the lifeline of mumbai .... "LOCAL" was hit....

as soon as blast happend .. ppl boarded off the train and ran away for safe places.. and guss wat who come to help them this time.. the slum ppl.. yes those dirty ppl.... every one frm the nearby was runnnig tho help the helpless ppl hit by the blast.. and the majority of them were .. those Dirty Slum.. ppl... helping ppl out... and POLICE was no where...

... 200 ppl died in that.. 700 got injured... 1000's were in panic.. they have no means to inform they loved ones they are safe.. they have no means to reach there.. home.. Churchgate to Virar... no trains....

Ppl took watever mean they had to reach there home.. to find some safe place.. they were in trucks .. buses.. cars... bikes.. everywhere... the long traffic jam on the ... WesternExperssHighway .. even in the night at 11 o'clock wen i was gng back to home.. traffic was.. jam.. Km's long q of vehicles.. but no one is complaining ... becoz they wanna to go home.. they dont have time to blame the traffic.. travelling for 3-4 hours.. has made them thirsty.. they are hungry... once again.. the spirit of mumbai wakes up.. in the hearts of .. SLUMS...they came out of there home.. helped to regulate traffic shown ppl.. shortcuts ... and ... circulating the Parle-G packets.. .. serving the ...Water...Tea.. to each one on the road.. it doesnt matter wheather he was in CAR or BUS..they were doing their duty.. all they knew is that , they have HELP ppl.. nuthing.. else..

Still.. v shld remove those slums.. the spirit of mumbai ... of Helping each other in the time.. wen u need it most... think again... no one comes out to help . ..not the ppl in the High rises... not those shivsainks.. who are ready to pull dwn the shops.. spreading roits .. they can play politics on BLASTS as soon as it happens.. but not cmng out to help ppl.. they can't do it.. they will never never do it.. they are here to spread roits no to help us... but for sure slum ppl are here to help us.. wheather u lyk them or not.. they will alwys b ready to help u out..

even if u want go ahead and throw them and out.. and u wont b able to get out of the nxt crisis.. so easily.. no one will there to help u out...the Mumbaikar spirit will b lost foerver... v must understand .. After listening to the album, one concludes that the experience is new but not that would be everyone's cup of tea!

The tital Track omkara is simply a song with the soul but hard to get in first time.. eventhen its music is made for masses so for sure gonna b hit for sometime atleast...

Namak Issak Ka Rekha Bhardwaj sings this track that is based on Indian classical music and has an old-world feel to it.. the wrds are not those indian classical music .. rather they are those.. Bihari ones.. the language of common ppl over there... but the music for sure has got the real touch of classical music...

'Naina Thag Lenge' that is quite an impressive piece of composition. Yes, the song again has a classical feel to it but there is something about this slow paced number that makes one go for the repeat button. It give u advice not to b fooled by those Nahiley Naina.. dont u fall in love with the eyes .. watever ppl say.. "eyes speak truth" .. but eyes do fool u and make u to do those nonsens things wich u wish u have never done.. either follow its adive and beware of those Nashiley Naina ;) ... or jst fall in love with this sng...

Lakkad Jal Ke Koyla Hoye Jaaye a song about heartbreak by Rekha Bhardwaj, it is yet another 'raaga' based number that would be appreciated most by those who understand Indian classical music. Set in a manner that would suit a dark lonely night, its sound should create an impact in the narrative but isn't of the kind that would make masses play on the album on and on. But for sure u wud lyk it to b ur companion in ur time of loneliness or in the mood to sit back and realx and enjy sum.. slow and soothing music... this will touch ur heart for sure.. as it touched mine.. its ma fav. sng in the whole album..

The Tragedie Of Omkara a 1:36 scnd sound clip give u the feel of sad ending of the story.. unlike those happy ending romantic bollywood film this film is different with a sad end..

Omkara is an album for those who are simply tired of anything Bollywood those Himesh reshamiya sngs wich are all over the indian music channels one and the same song repeated everywhere ... or those English copied pop .. rock.. rap.. remix sngs... wich makes u feel so sorry for the poor indian filmmakers ..

Football Fever

Every one seems to have caught the Football fever.. either this way or that way.. u can c.. there status on yahoo ... or on orkut ..or any other place for that matter.. even the t-shirt logos have changed from “ I was born intelligent ..but education ruined me” to the logos of “Brazil”...[its finally out.. ], Germany ... etc.... everyone knows world cup football is gonig on.. and ppl are gng all the more “go go gaa gaa” over it day by day..... and specially we Indians... who, by the way, don't even have our team playing at the world cup... are gng crazy abut it .. v almost seems to have ignored our so called national game.. Cricket altogether...(the official national game was ignored long back as we all know.. ).. YES we have..!!

see.. India won test series after 35 yrs on a foreign land but no one seems to care about this... ,yes.. for ur information.... India beat West Indies...(finally..huh..!! ) and what shud be the headline was confined into a simple, small para and a pic.... on the front page of times of India.... that's it.. .. media is not giving enough coverage to it.. no big big shows for cricket..... nuthing.. rather..... the fall Brazil is making Indians cry.....

wats this happening.. v r cheering for England... v shout wen Italy wins.. at the last moment in the semifinal... or like me who slept during the day to watch the semi's in night .. n watch it till the last moment.. till 3'o clock... even wen i had to got to my office the next day....!!

wat the hell has happen to Indians... kids are playing football.. cricket bats are gone.. i didn't see them.. in anyone's hand since this wrld cup has started...

so i thought to analyze the things...(grt mind.. finally at work...).... wat is making me .. crazy abut football... i am not a gr8 footballer aur played much football in my school/collage time.. rather played GALLI cricket much...... even then.... i am crazy to watch world cup match..

is it becoz of the hype created by the media...?? every channel is having special series on football...(ggrrrhhhh I miss them coz I hv to come to my office )..... every one is trying to in cash the opportunity.. ya it might b one of the reason.. but it cant b enough to attract “ME” toward football...

is it becoz of my personality... lyk m not vry gentleman kinda person ( as u all must be knowing by now )...n.. cricket is for sure a gentleman's game.. i m rather a wild and crazy animal...[ girls BEWARE.. ] .. who loves thrill and adventure in life rather then.. standing and watching a ball to come and hit it .. and jst run a bit.. no this not me..!!

i feel more comfortable with Football.. its game of crazy ppl lyk me... i cant c ppl developing big tummy ... after becoming a regular player lyk sehwag.. and even then a gr8 player.. i lyk being more athletic and cricket for sure is game to b IDLE ... ... u have vry little opportunity to move or run.. jst stand there and watch the ball to come and go...

also.. its more time consuming... a test match takes 5 days to finish... and even a one day match takes the whole day...while in football... all is done and over with in just 2 hrs at the most..... its fast.. like the pace of today’s world.!!!

Apart from that I’ve never been such a gr8 crick fan.. i have info abut cricket jst becoz .. one of my close friend is crazy abut cricket ... who bunk's the college to watch cricket ... and watch whole of the test series...its jst becoz of him.. i have interest in game.....see.. I am such a gud friend..... I am with my friends always...[gosh.. am soooo.. modest ]

.....apart frm that.. some patriotic feeling attached with it.. after all INDIA plays it.. and whether i lyk this game or not i m for sure.. want India to win... so that makes me attached to cricket....
and i think all other indias who are now caught in football fever are ... ignoring cricket becoz they got a better option .. the football rather.. then following.. some Englishman's game... n trying to b lyk them ... even if they are not lyk that... v shld get over from that GULAMI feeling and dont try to b lyk Englishmen....they were theone’s who converted our dear gilli-danda to cricket... gggrrrrrrrhhh

Now on a serious note....
is it jst that .. or we Indians are .. very lazy .. i mean c.. our govt. dept. are not very active .. they are verrrrrry much.. lazy and which brings the disaster's lyk.. 26th july in Mumbai.. and still not learning from them.... so....is our love for cricket shows .. our this attitude.. v love cricekt not becoz its an gentleman's .. rather just.. becoz it shows our system.!. u can c cricekt being played in any kinda office compound and all .. any one can play it.. without giving much effort..

v r counted in some of the world's poor countries..... even then.. v luv to play the game of riches.. wat it is for.. rather then playing football... which is considered as game of poor all around the world..or our national game hockey.. which nobody even talks about..... v go after cricket all d way.. v must think about it...!!

i am for sure waiting to c who wins the football wrld cup this year. .. i mean i might not b able to c it live .. i might b travelling that.. time.. i will try to get it on mob by yahoo .. the matchcast but i can't miss it... at least for some time ... i am getting all the action i need .. the game wich i feel is more lyk.. me..

i knw i might have hurt some of the Cricket fan's after all m living in the country where cricket is an.. religion but its jst my opinion not an advice to u..

so three cheersss for football....n i bet for ..ITALY who are u supporting..

My first Rainy day off in mumbai....

04th July

As usual.. the mobile alarm rang.. at 7 o'clock.. i put it off.. bring mobile
near to me and again.. went to sleep zzzzzz .... the usual practice.. sleeping.
woke up again.. click a button on mob.... to c the time.. its 08:08... me to my
self.. wake up gagan..or u will b late for the office.. i wake up..

The sound of heavy rains coming from the outside.. i open the window to c.. how heavy it is raining.. hmm its very heavy.. okie.. so wat.. it will stop in some time n i will have to go the office.. so goes in the bathroom to take the shower.. come out.. okie .. the rains are still heavy...wait ..i vl go by nxt bus... i call my colleague. ..he comes early to the office so he must b in the office.. ya he is.. he pick up the fone..and i ask.. "so reached to the office .. how many others are there ".. the reply "i am the only one here" ...lolzzz gr8.. that means me also not coming to the office...

My room partner who has already took off on yesterday is getting ready to go..wears his.. new raincoat...this time he will not get wet.. finally he brought a raincoat for himself..me laid back in rest..its off for me today.. but still if rains stop till 10:15 i vl go to the office..knock on door.. my room partner is back.. completely.. wet.. he says "there is no way of going to the office the water is all around even on the western express highway..BMC ppl are asking ppl not to go that way"... yipee so no office today..its final..

The other room partner wakes up.. and we make the TEA... how pleasing it is to have hot tea in rains..the discussion goes on .. no one is willing to go office the.. rains are still heavy.. and roads are blocked so .. no one will go to the.. office.. final.. but the other room partner whose has to leave for the Coimbatore .. soon.. changes mood as rains slow down.. and decides to go office.. i wish him luck n..."C u soon man".. ;)...

Okie now we both are hungry.. so wat to do... MAGGI... yes there nuthing as easy and fast to cook as Maggi.. wheather u lyk it or not.. it is the best option.. hot Maggi.... wat else u need in this rains..perfect...

Okie now starts the dark side of...rains.. cable is gone.. no TV...radio not wrking.. no music.. and worst of all No mobile network "GPRS" gone.. hell ... v r completely disconnected from the wrld..even if all the ppl are running out of mumbai v wont b informed..... without GPRS.. no net no chat.. no surfing.. sit back n relax..

Lazy me went to sleep.. i luv sleeping... woke up after 45 mins or so.. its arnd 1 o'clock .. my room partner is preparing KHICHDI to cook.. gr8...food atlast.. he cooks it up.. n i woke up to eat it..he makes it really vry well... so v are eating... in b/w i receive an call(the n/w is okey now but no GPRS..its problem of my area onyl..:( ) .. tlking n eating at the same time...

Now the its getting boring .. no means of entertainment.. so .. v decide lets go n watch movie... but as v had lunch jst now.. v were felling vry sleepy.. so decide to sleep.. n go to movie in the evening... i wake up to open the gate for the third roomie to come in.. n went to sleep
again.. n wake up again at 7 o'clock so no movie :(... the third roomie is cleaning.. kitchen.. m still feeling.. sleepy... thnk god the CABLE is back.... TV time.. n it has to b news.. evry channel is broadcasting abut mumbai's rain only.. they are jst projecting it too much although it rained only 200mm but all they need a BREAKING news.. but a news chanel admits.. "a viewer must understand a normal rainy day is not a breaking news" -- NDTV..bravo...

Chai time again ..its arnd 8:30...the day was vry lazy n boring.. :( ... now v three decide to cook some food .. so v go to bring chapati n sum vegetables.. cook d food and its ready... v 3 start eating .. its the first time v three are havin dinner together..n sabji is damm gud .. tlking n eating n laughing .. n watching TV..wich v missed whole thru day...

Now comes the best part of .. day ... rather night.. its 12:30... its football time.. yipeeee... m really caught in the football fever... Italy vs Germany ... the match goes on vry exciting.. both side are fighting.. vry hard.. ITALY got soom vry gud chances to goal.. but bad luck... the 90 mins over no goal... its extra time.. 4 mins left.. its goona b penelty shoot out only.. 0-0 still... but the things turn..vry dramatically...n Italy shoots first goal.. .. yipee.. Germans are gone.. 2 min left.. and one more goal by Italians... wonderful shot.. n they r in FINALS... m really under footie fever..

This was the best part of the day.. otherwise it was really a boring day..its 3 o'clock now.. switch of the lights.. n go to the sleep.. i have to go for the office 2morrow.. and follow my daily routine..

Alltogather it was really boring day.. ..xcpet the football match.. nxt time i vl think one more time before taking off...

BACK to work now..............
